Ingredients
500g rice cakes
200g fish cakes, sliced
4 cups water
3 tablespoons gochujang
1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean chili powder)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare Broth:Â In a large pan, add water, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a simmer.
Step 2
Add Rice Cakes:Â Add rice cakes and cook until they are soft and have absorbed the flavors of the broth, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add Fish Cakes:Â Add sliced fish cakes and continue to simmer until everything is thoroughly heated.
Step 4
Garnish and Serve:Â Add chopped green onions and simmer for another minute. Serve hot, sprinkled with sesame seeds.
